Legato 16.10.03 now available on Legato.io

Hi Legato Community,

We are pleased to announce the release of Legato 16.10.03. It is a minor release to mainly improve on the devmode app. Please refer to the release notes for details.

We have revamped the release info page so the links and docs for the latest and past releases are much more accessible. Check it out here. In addition, we have also cleaned up the licenses pages for the Application Framework . For Linux distribution info, please visit the Source page here

Do expect more features coming in the next major release  Thank you!

Legato Team

PS: Note that to use 16.10.3 on WP85 you will need WP Release 14 that should be made available at the end of May

Hi

Any idea why the documentation has been (latested) up’d to 16.10.3 but 16.10.3 isn’t (I assume) released yet?

Wouldn’t it be better to leave Docs - Legato Docs as the version that is available to all and have a Docs - Legato Docs for the leading edge / candidate new release?

I didn’t look on this forum but instead assumed that 16.10.3 was the one to use for new projects - there’s no binary so I built Legato-af and (failed building) SWI9X15Y_07.12.09.00 but then discovered the note on here indicating lack of support for 16.10.3 for WP85

Cheers

John

PS
For interest - release 14 was made available on the source about a week after I wrote this note

Note that Legato is an open source project that has its release cadence. Sierra Wireless ports Legato and validates it on the WP family modules. They are independent from each other. For WP85/75 users, please always go to https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/legato/wpfirmwarerelease/ to find the latest WP85/75 release image.

Thanks,
Alan
