WP7603 legato 18.5.1

Hello

I have send from France to USA a mangoh red with WP7603 and legat 18.5.1

I have set WP7603 with Sierra APN. But Ican’t test It in France due to incompatibility with LTE in France.

My customer power on the board but I don’t see any connection to AV. In the time line I can see a lot of data session started /stopped with around 3Mbytes of data/day but no registration in AirVantage.


I will try to investigate with the customer. Any idea,

I have installed a avcController and set the heartbeat manually to 15mn with AT+Wdsc=3,15 before to shipped the board.

is your picture extracted from Airvantage platform?
how do you control that the registration is not done on airvantage for your devices?
do you have any other information from the device or access to the remote device?
what could be useful, is to control directly on the remote device the connection and the registration, may be by checking legato logs .

Connection is good. The issues was a very bad level for the radio.

Yes but in case of bad level reception we need to power off power on the mangoh red to have a AV connection.

did you notice if the signal level is better after the power off/on , explaining the connection succeeded?
If it is the case, we can imagine that the device has found a better network/cell.
could you have access to the device?

I have no remote access. In case of very bad connection the connection with AV seems lost and not come back. Only with power off/on.

I have a avcController who stop/start AV session in case of network is lost with a retry timer.

I have send information to Sierra about AV session failed authentification to add log on the AV BS server. But it seems difficult to have answer.

How is the best way to maintain connection with AV ? If the network is bad is necessary to restart network scan ?

Example will be great.

Are you mentioning about the device power OFF and ON or cm radio OFF and ON, in the above lines.
