Hello all,
I want to test a simple helloworld app on localhost without touching the real mangOH yellow Hardware,
local host is my laptop with WSL and Ubuntu 20.04, I am using legato as a plug in to VS Code
Can anyone help me.
I am following attached post but getting this issue
abharati@fsdclient0598:~/myWorkspace$ make localhost
make: *** No rule to make target ‘localhost’. Stop.

Hi evreybody,
I’m trying to install legato on my linux ubuntu, and i’d like to test demo’s apps (HelloWorld) on localhost before usie target, but i don’t find commands to run it .
i tried instapp myapp localhost, it doesn’t work. the same for startapp myapp localhost.
i have tried to start legato on localhost with startlegato, but i don’t find the commande to run the app.
Would you please give me some suggestion to solve this problem?
Thank you.
also mkapp and mksys does not work for me, why

Suggest you testing the application directly in mangoh board
Not sure if there is still maintenance on the localhost target
so is it not possible to run the legato framework apps on laptop ?
also is it not possible to create a legato app binary file for my local laptop by any other method?
Note - I dont want to change the legato specifc libarries and dependencies just to cross compile the app for my laptop.

I have no experience in using localhost, you can see whether there is relevant thread in this forum or mangoh forum
