are you downgrading from R10?

Have you tried to toggle TP1 pin to kick module into download mode for downloading firmware?

I used the TP1 pin to get the modem to boot into firmware update mode and successfully recovered the modem, thank you.

I also found that setting the time as “00/01/01,00:00:00+00” rather than “80/01/06,00:00:00+00” caused the cell modem to reboot and then successfully acquire a NITZ time.
