How to reset R17 wp76xx module

I updated a device to Legato 21 and Kernel 4.14, and now I want to execute the swiflash reset command and got an error:

$ swiflash -m wp76xx -r
Detecting USB of the target
DONE
Communicating with the target
DONE
Switching to firmware download mode
…DONE
Downloading the firmware
.ERROR: Firmware Download failed. Callback status 59399DONE
ERROR: Firmware Download Failed

I tried to switch usb port, tried to manually force boothold with AT!. It does not work

Starting r13, you cannot use this method anymore

But currently you have upgraded to r17, then it cannot be downgraded …
So probably you need to erase the userapp partition manually

I’m kinda new in the area, could you help me with that, how to do that?

I tried this before( need to check the mtd number of userapp partition) , but not sure if it works in r17
