you can first try download the yocto.cwe image (no need to use swicwe to combine appboot)
BTW, did you do make clean? I don’t think changing a value will make such error
done make clean and rebuilding the image

The new image is working fine now on new module.

I think the issue is resolved with the changes to yoctocwetool.sh, we can mark this post as solved if @mbramer is also able to resolve the issues at his end.
