It appears that dropbear is expecting some keys and so I can’t connect via sftp to copy over files in development. I’m sure this is by design, but it makes it darn inconvenient. Is there a way to get this to work?

SFTP feature has been moved to devMode app since 18.01 (same for strace).
The purpose of this is to not have GPL v3 software provisioned on the device by default.
You will recover SFTP service by simply installing devMode app.
