Where to store data of a download

Hi,

I want to download data from a server to my target device (wp77xx). But I don’t want to use any free space on the user partition (e.g. /home/root or /tmp). Is there a way to access e.g. the swifota mtd? This would offer ~80Mb, which would be fine. Or just any other possibility?

You can use a sd card
