Trying to activate new device- Cant connect at+wdss=1,1

Hi All,
I have had good luck so far trying to register a new device on the online portal. But when I try to use the at commands to initiate communication from the device to Airvantage, I cannot seem to connect get the expected wdsi response codes:
at+wdsi=8191
OK
at+wdss=1,1
OK

+WDSI: 4

+WDSI: 5

+WDSI: 8

I checked my apn name and can connect using cm data connect.

root@fx30s:~# cm data info
Index: 1
APN: nxtgenphone
PDP Type: IPV4V6
Connected: yes

root@fx30s:~# ping www.google.com

My target device is FX30S. With the following firmware and bootloader:
Firmware: SWI9X15Y_07.11.22.00 r33729 CARMD-EV-FRMWR1 2017/01/11 18:04:06
Bootloader: SWI9X15Y_07.11.22.00 r33729 CARMD-EV-FRMWR1 2017/01/11 18:04:06

This has previously worked for other FX30 devices which I have but all of a sudden its not working now. Trying to do a customer demo here. Has someone seen this happen before.

Hey virajpadte, I’ve been looking at the forum for a while now and haven’t seen anyone else who is having this issue. It would be great if someone would be able to address this problem, because in its current state, I don’t believe that I can fully rely upon AirVantage as a cloud platform. I hope someone from Sierra can rectify this soon.

Hi,
it’s possible that communications are blocked by the firewall.
it should be configured by following the description of the FX30s User guide;
refer to chapter “Reconfiguring the Firewall”;
best regards
