avcDaemon Timed Out Critical Error

I’m running Legato 19.02.0 with release 16.1 firmware on a WP8548 and I’m getting an avcDaemon timed out critical error.

Any thoughts?

Hello @dbeckwith,

From the logs provided, I see the warning message “Authentication to DM failed”. Usually this warning message will be seen when you try to connect the device to Airvanatge without creating the system for the module on the Airvantage. That is the reason i think for watchdog timeout error.

You were trying to connect the device to Airvantage ? Have you registered your device on the Airvantage.

If you have not registered your device on the Airvantage, Please register you device on Airvantage and try again.

Thank you for the information. I thought that unit was registered in AirVantage but it’s possible it wasn’t. I will keep this in mind if I experience this problem again.
