I decided just to rebuild the platform.
Rebuilding is a one time task and just takes a few minutes. so its okay to rebuild.

Hi @Pankaj , that is right, but that is not my main concern.
My main concern is to ensure the development binary same as the production one. Since I have a change on platform side, I have to manage this as well in the repository. But nonetheless, I could not see any other option.
I was hoping there is a way, in which legato platform allow the user to override the default .adef of the platform.
