Hello,

Was there ever a solution found not involving modifying the yocto tree? I found this thread after creating my own: [Starting SPI automatically](http://forum.legato.io/t/starting-spi-automatically/3001) and I feel like I have the same kind of issue.

I am using a mangOH Red with WP8548.
