# New Developer Studio 3.6 release

Hi all,

Please note that a new Developer Studio 3.6 release is available for update from now.  
This new version is compatible with Legato 15.10.  
Source content (release note, getting started guide, troubleshooting guide) is also available.

Important note  
If you’re running on Windows, please note that Developer Studio requirements have changed: a VirtualBox version 5.0.6 or higher is now required.  
Please update VirtualBox before updating Developer Studio.
