# Module xxx not found in modules.dep

modprobe: module xxx not found in modules.dep

how to fix this modprobe problem??

doesn’t have anyway to fix it out??  
i still want to use modprobe

it is because the driver is not in  
/lib/modules/3.18.131/modules.dep

so you need to install it first by insmod

I have got it like this. Does it mean the driver is not in /lib/modules/3.18.131/modules.dep or not??

yup, i think so, that is why you need to use insmod

it error.  
unknown symbol or parameter.  
it about cfg80221 then i have modprobe the cfg80211.  
it still same error

you should use modprobe if it is inside modules.dep

root@swi-mdm9x28-wp:~# modprobe cfg80211  
root@swi-mdm9x28-wp:~#  
root@swi-mdm9x28-wp:~# modprobe mac80211  
root@swi-mdm9x28-wp:~#

I got same error  
unknown symbol or parameter

I don’t see problem with wp76 fw r13.3
