Is there a way to add localhost as target module in developer studio? I would like to build legato for localhost and then build apps for Ubuntu with ability to debug the code, go line by line and etc.

Unfortunately no, Developer Studio is really focused on Sierra Wireless targets.
But that’s a nice point; keeping the idea in mind for the future
