Hello, Could you please assist me how to do a factory reset of wp76xx series. Currently, I had an application which I am not able to uninstall, I already deleted the install folder and all the related files. Is there any other process to restore the device from Developer Studio or Windows machine? ---

Hi @sowvikroy From Developer Studio, in the recovery wizard (from the **Device** menu), you get the **Erase user partition** option which is exactly the same operation that **swiflash -r** ---

Hi @sowvikroy What WP76 SDK version did you install in your DS? This behavior looks like a legacy one and shouldn’t occur on recent SDKs. ---

Well, good catch, there is indeed a problem on Windows. As a workaround, you can: - go to this folder on your system: **C:\Legato\Packages\legato.recovery.2.1.0.1702\_3.win32-201803051239\resources\reset\WP76XX** (may be different if you didn’t installed in **C:\Legato** - rename the **wipe\_mntflash\_wp76xx.cwe** file you find here to **reset.cwe** Then the reset option should work as expected.
