then why don’t you enter “cm data connect” when you need it to go back to online?

Did you also check “cm radio” to see if it has register to network?

I was already looking at the mdc interface as an alternative, by what I’m trying to establish is whether DataConnectionService is buggy which I’ve already concluded, yes it is.
